I have written home repetitively across the floorplan of the house I was living in at the time. During a period of transience, moving regularly from place to place, the drawing was a way of trying to evoke a feeling of home: a place that holds both hopes and fears, but needs above all to be one of safety and sanctuary, something the repetition itself was reaching for.
