The Thinking Hand was a process-led group exhibition, unfolding through participation and exchange, which turned Devonshire Collective’s gallery into a site of shared making. Throughout the exhibition, visitors were invited to add their own writing to the drawing table, and groups from Sanctuary Eastbourne and other local cultural organisations joined in the mindful drawing process. Alongside this, closed workshops were held for adult carers and counsellors, exploring words that held specific meaning for their lives and practice.
